BOND OVERSIGHT COMMITTEE
ACCOUNTABILITY TO OUR COMMUNITY
The Bond Oversight Committee will ensure accountability for the use of the bond measure funds. This committee will provide a regular report to the Board of Education on the progress of the bond construction projects, as well as how funds are being utilized in alignment with Board and voter approval.
COMMITTEE MAKEUP
The Bond Oversight Committee will be comprised of nine community members of various backgrounds, including, but not limited to, financial management, accounting, information technology, development, construction, and architecture and/or engineering, as well as a Board of Education Liaison. The Bond Oversight Committee will meet quarterly, one month prior to the presentation to the Board, until approximately 90% of construction is complete on all projects outlined in the 2022 bond.
COMMITTEE MEMBERS
Applications for the Bond Oversight Committee were open November 10 - December 2. The Superintendent formed a committee to review and interview selected candidates on December 20 and 21.
The recommended slate of candidates was brought before the Board of Education at its January 23, 2023, meeting for approval. The Board approved a slate of 11 community members and four liaison positions. Liaisons include representatives from the Board of Education, City of Greeley, Town of Severance, and Town of Windsor.
If vacancies occur after initial selection, the Superintendent will appoint an individual to serve the remaining duration.
